JR Landworks was founded in 2011 by owner Jonathan Baigis, a Virginia Tech graduate in Urban Forestry and an ISA Certified Arborist. With our scientific based knowledge and years of tree care industry experience, coupled with highly specialized equipment we are able to offer a range of specialized environmental land management services resulting in the highest quality work performed.
Our company values, technical and industry qualifications, and a philosophy summed up in our motto, “If it’s not good enough for you, it’s not good enough” has earned JR Landworks the reputation of a trusted and highly valued business partner.

Jerry Baigis
Jerry Baigis is a 22 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps who completed his service as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1999. Jerry manages the business, administrative and sales functions of the company.

Jonathan Baigis
Jonathan is a 2013 Urban Forestry graduate of Virginia Polytechnic University (Virginia Tech) and oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations of JR Landworks and commercial project estimating. Jonathan earned his International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Arborist Certification (MA5354) in 2012 and holds ISA TRAQ (ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification)
Managing Partner
Ross Baigis
Ross is a 2013 graduate of Loudoun County’s Freedom High School who immediately went to work at JR Landworks. Ross oversees all of JR Landworks' residential and estate projects, including estimating.
